Daniel has spent the last eighteen years immersed in body-based energy-focused practices — Kriya and Haṭha yoga through the lineage of Swami Kripalu, with teachers like Michael Carroll (Yoganand), Jonathan Foust (Sudhir), and Richard Faulds (Shobhan), Shadow Yoga, Chen-style Tai Chi, Xingyi, and movement practices informed by teachers like Ido Portal.

He has completed accredited coursework through the Graduate School of Breathing Sciences in respiratory psychophysiology and applied breathing sciences, and holds certifications in Somatic Energy Alignment and Myo-Somatic Bodywork Therapy.

Most recently, he completed the Myo-Somatic Bodywork Therapy training under Daniel Wicker, whose work bridges myofascial work via the work of Larch Hanson, CranioSacral Therapy, and SomatoEmotional release through Jon Uppledger.

His main and ongoing mentor is Darryl Slim, a Diné (Navajo) Keeper of Songs who learned traditional medicine directly from his grandparents, Danny and Aurora Joe. Darryl's influence runs through everything Daniel does as a structural presence and a source of personal orientation.

What emerged from all of it is Postmodern Solework.
